Karelian Warcry was founded in late 2002. A Drunken idea about a band wasn't bad at all and one thing led to another. Sami Ukkonen (bass) and Urgh (guitars&vocals) were responsible for the musical and lyrical stuff together. Grontti started to mutilate drums. They all had similar and clear visions of what they wanted of the band. Musically the early days were Black Metal with a taste of folk in it.
Later the band´s style changed a bit. Music started to get influences from other genres, mostly from Death Metal.
Karelian Warcry represents respect for ancestors, their sacrifices and all what they have done for us.
Karelian Warcry supports anti-christianity.
Mormant De Snagov signed to Wintersunset!

Mormant De Snagov hails from Southwest-Finland and is established in 2008. The band plays stripped-down black metal in the spirit of malignant and blasphemous apostles, such as Darkthrone, Mayhem, Secrets of the Moon and Marduk. A great part of the lyrics have risen from the frustration towards the hypocritical religious community and are openly blasphemous. Also, as the name of the band suggests, the band is fascinated by the Southeast European legends; some of the lyrics are dealing with such concepts as immortality and the resurrection of evil.
The debut album "Rise From The Void" will be released at February 2010.

Folkvang 3rd album "Atmospheric Black" is out now! Easiest way to get the CD is order from some good mailorders listed on the "releases" page. You can also try to ask from your local record store, but it´s quite sure they won´t have it. If you´re a thief, best tool to steal the album is torrent.

Some asshole asked will Folkvang be available on Spotify. The answer is NO, never! The album will propably be available on iTunes soon,
but of course you can also steal it and use torrent!

Folkvang debut CD "Atmospheric Black" is on cd-print now. The album will be jewel case, bookle is folded A3 poster. Cover art scanned from a hand made drawing, layout made by Kalle Pyyhtinen. Album release date will be on 11th December.

Belarus melodic pagan black metal band Folkvang have done a deal for one album with Wintersunset Records. "Atmospheric Black" is Folkvang´s third album and first released a label outside Belarus.
